Resources
The Resources section contains helpful information divided among six
categories (shown at left):
- Court cases - This area lists some cases whose
decisions apply to administrative justice. Each case has a link to
the published decision of the court and, in most cases, a link to
a case summary written by a CCAT Board member.
- Professional Development - This page provides
a link to CCAT’s Online Literacy Course and gives the background
for the forthcoming Decision-Writing Course, directed at tribunal
adjudicators. These courses are for distance education, a benefit
for adjudicators who do not have easy access to in-person training
locations or for those whose schedule does not permit attendance at
a course.
- Publications - Here you find the links for CCAT’s
publications on literacy plus information about the Canadian Journal
of Administrative Law and Practice, published by Carswell under the
auspices of CCAT. A link to author guidelines is given along with
a link for subscribing to the journal.
- Useful Links - This page contains links to domestic
and international administrative tribunal organizations.
- Upcoming Events - Here are conferences and seminars
given by different administrative justice organizations both in Canada
and the United States as well as links to the continuing education
pages of Canadian provincial organizations.
- Other -This contains a list of federal, provincial,
and territorial administrative tribunals. As this is an ongoing project,
please send us names of tribunals that are not on the list to: ExecutiveDirector@ccat-ctac.org.
